What items do I need before starting lessons?

1. An instrument of choice (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, or bass guitar)
2. A tuner that is compatible with the instrument
3. A lesson book (see instructor for recommendations)
4. A binder or folder for printouts

I will provide cables and amplifiers for use during lessons.

Do I need to know anything about music to take lessons?

No. The only thing you need to know is that you love it!

What topics do you cover?

We’ll base topics around your goals. Here are a few examples of things we might cover during lessons:
– Fundamental playing technique
– Music theory and fretboard knowledge
– Guitar tablature reading, or TAB
– Note reading
– Learning songs (by TAB, by ear, by observation, and all in combination)

How long are lessons?

I offer 30 minute sessions and 60 minute sessions.

Where is Tito’s Music Studio located?

I’m located inside The Playroom near Uptown Charlotte, NC.

I need to reschedule my next lesson. What do I do?

Let me know at least 24 hours in advance via text message or email (“written notice”) that you will be unable to make it and we can find another time to meet.

Cancellations made within 24 hours result in forfeiture of lesson fee for the session in question, and no makeup lesson will be provided.

What happens if the teacher can’t make it to a lesson?

Because I am asking students for at least 24 hours written notice to reschedule their lessons, I will adhere to the same request in return.
