Lesson Materials & Equipment
Students will be responsible for providing their own instrument, tuner, and instruction book(s) each week. I will give recommendations for specific lesson books based on the student’s goals upon registration, and guidance for finding the right instrument if requested.
The cost for my preferred books typically falls between $10 and $20, and are available to order online or in local music stores.
I will provide instrument cables and amplifiers for electric guitar and bass students to use during lessons.
Cancellation/Rescheduling
In order to discontinue lessons, please notify me by your next-to-last lesson (2 weeks advance notice).
If you need to reschedule your lesson for any reason, please provide written notice at least 24 hours in advance of your lesson via email or text. Make-up lessons will not be offered for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
As I am a working musician, I must adjust my schedule to perform and conduct business with my band. I will notify students of any scheduling changes at least 24 hours in advance of lesson time. Please take this into consideration before starting lessons.
Parking and Facility
Tito’s Music Studio is located inside The Playroom, located at 916 Tuckaseegee Road near Uptown Charlotte.
There are 9 parking spaces located directly in front of The Playroom itself. If that lot is full, you may park in the lot to the left of the front door (when facing the door) on the other side of the white wall.
If for some reason that area is also full, you may park in the smaller lot to the right of the front door where the loading dock doors are, but please do not park in front of the 2nd/farthest loading door or double park.
Because parking is tight, please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to make sure you can get a spot.
More About The Playroom
The Playroom is Charlotte’s oldest and most established rehearsal facility, and home to a number of rehearsing bands, professional musicians, and private businesses. At any given time, you may witness musicians loading gear in to rehearse in a nearby room, prepping for a recording session or video shoot, or gathering for an event. The place can get busy (and loud) quickly, especially in the evenings.
Because my studio shares space with other professionals, please be courteous of the other adults who may be conducting business inside the building while waiting for lessons. Adult supervision is required for any children inside the building.
